A research study is inviting people diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, and their care partners, to take part in a virtual interview to learn more about their experiences and how their symptoms impact daily life.
If you are a non-caucasian diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease five years ago or longer and are experiencing “on-off” symptom fluctuations, have not received surgical or device aided treatments and are currently receiving Levodopa in any form, you may be eligible to participate. The conversation will take approximately 75 minutes and can be conducted in one sitting or broken up into two sessions. Qualified patients will receive $175 as a thank you for completing the interview(s).
If you have a caregiver, they may also be eligible to participate in a 90-minute interview. Caregivers who qualify and complete the interview will receive $200.
All information and responses will remain confidential. Participants must live in the US and must be able to provide confirmation of diagnosis.
