| TOPAZ | Principal Investigator: Dr. Vanessa Hinson Clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of Zoledronic acid in the prevention of fractures in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) No travel to study center needed PD patients over the age of 65 |
| STEM-PD | Principal Investigator: Dr. Vanessa Hinson A study to help to determine if using an investigational neuromodulation headset device will help treat non-motor symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease (PD). A non-invasive device is a device that stays outside of the body. It is not implanted and does not penetrate the skin. Neuromodulation means that the device stimulates activity in the brain 6 visits over 4 months with an option to enter an open-label portion PD patients between 18-85 years |
| BIA 28-6156-201 | Principal Investigator: Dr. Federico Rodriguez-Porcel Study to determine the Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability of BIA 28-6156 in Subjects With Parkinson’s Disease With a Pathogenic Variant in the Glucocerebrosidase (GBA1) Gene Patients aged 35-80 Patients will undergo genetic testing in first part to determine if they have the GBA1 Gene, only subjects with the GBA1 gene will continue with the study 11 visits over 20 months |
