March Support Meeting – Today, March 27 at 1:30 p.m.

Happy Spring everyone! Time got by us, but we have an excellent speaker and topic for this month’s support meeting.

Lindsay Moon, who is also a Parkinson’s Foundation Ambassador will be speaking about Encompass which is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Bluffton. The chance of falling with PD is high and subsequently the potential need for inpatient rehab. Encompass is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital that specializes in the treatment and recovery of a wide variety of conditions including strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma and neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease. In fact, Encompass was recently awarded a specific certification for Parkinson’s rehabilitation and is the only facility in the area to hold this certification!
